Job Description
Replicon is looking for candidaets who are willing to work in shifts for the Server Support Team
Remote monitoring of Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 servers which includes of Performance, uptime, SQL DB, website status, web based application & server resources
• Managing & monitoring Windows 2003 Server and Windows XP professional Clients.
• Managing Users accounts, permissions and security policies.
• Remote Support for Other locations via Net-Meeting and RDP
• Trouble Shooting on LAN and Network disaster.
• Patch Management- Updating Antivirus and Security Patches.
• Configuring the Email Accounts and mail flow trouble shooting
• Managing backups using Win NT Backup Management Software.
• Creating User Account for new users and assigning a specific workstation.
• Detail Documentation of Hardware/Software IT Assets
Responding to Alerts on monitoring tools
Identify the root cause and troubeshoot
Troubleshoot Web Application, website issues & IIS
Work closely with various teams for early issue closures
Handle Level1 Escalations, and adhere to escalation matrix
Provide necessary information/observations/logs & all required support to next level for diagnose a reported/escalated problem
Knowledge on SQL and SQL Server Knowledge on Linux would be added advantage
4+ years of related experience
Candidate must have prior 2+ years experience in Windows 2003 and 2008 Server & Monitoring
Willingness to workon flexible timings including night shift (24/7)
Should be a good team player
